Resetting a baseline

- We've done a lot to reduce our timeline on our current project: we fast-tracked, we crashed, we've substituted resources, and we've done other things along the way, including reducing scope. We want to revisit our snapshot of our original baseline and see what the impact of those changes are. We're going to go to the View ribbon, and on the View ribbon, we'll reselect under the Task selections, our Tracking Gantt. Now, on the Tracking Gantt we can actually see the differences between our current schedule and our original snapshot, the grey bars, which was our baseline. Now we want to make sure that we reset this baseline before we start putting in actuals. So, to do that we'll return to the Project ribbon and under the Project ribbon we'll select Set Baseline and Set Baseline again. Now we may want to keep the original baseline and save this as another option. So, since that's the choice that we might want to do, again, for historical purposes, we'll save our new baseline into…
