- [Bonnie] Hi, Bonnie Biafore here. You might not know which approach you will take in a project and depending on the approach, you have to perform different activities. This tip shows you how to include and manage multiple approaches in a Project template. Here I have a small part of a Project file. In this project, there are three possible approaches to system configuration. The first one is to use the existing configuration. It's set up as a milestone because there's no extra work. The second approach is to use a new operating system, so I have a summary task and a sub task to install the new OS on machines. The third approach is to implement a new tool. So, this has several tasks that you have to perform. Let's say that using the existing configuration is the most likely approach. So, what I'm going to do before I save this as a template, is to inactivate the other two approaches.
