- [Instructor] The level resources feature helps you eliminate resource over-allocations. You can level the entire project, or just the parts that are giving you trouble. I'm gonna start by applying the leveling Gantt view. On the task tab, click the bottom half of the Gantt chart button, and then choose Leveling Gantt. The other thing I wanna do, so I can see things a lot more easily, is to go to the view tab, and then in the time scale box, let's choose Weeks so that we can see the task bars just a little more compact. Another thing that helps you see what's going on, is to hide the summary tasks. I'm gonna go to the format tab, and in the show, hide section at the right end of the ribbon, turn off project summary task and summary tasks. Now we see our work tasks. The next thing we have to do is set the leveling options. That means going to the resource tab. Then in the Level section, click Leveling Options.
