Keep important fields visible in a table

- [Bonnie] Hi, I'm Bonnie Biafore. When a table is awash with fields, it can be tough to keep key fields in view, like the Task Name or Start Date. In this tip I'll show you a couple of ways to keep those important fields visible wherever you are in the table. Now one approach, if you only have one field, like the Task Name, is the to have that as the first column in the view and lock it in place. Here's how that works. On the View tab, I'm gonna click Tables, and then choose More Tables on the dropdown menu. That opens up the More Tables dialog box and it selects the table that's in the view. Well I wanna edit the table, so let's click the Edit button. That opens up the Table Definition dialog box and here's the trick. What we wanna do is we wanna make the Name Field, the first column in the table. So I'm gonna select the Name cell and I know, it sounds radical, but we're gonna click Cut Row to remove it from that grid. Then I'm gonna select the ID cell and click Paste Row. So now I…
