- [Instructor] Hyperlinks can take you to external files or to a location in your Project file like a view or task. To add a single hyperlink, right-click a task and choose Link. The Insert Hyperlink dialog box opens with the existing file or webpage entry selected. To link to a file, navigate to the folder with the file, select it, and click OK. In the indicator cell, an icon with a globe and link of chain shows that there is a hyperlink attached to the task. To follow the hyperlink, click the icon. If the indicator's column isn't visible, right-click the task. On the shortcut menu, point at Hyperlink, and then choose Open Link.
