Identify projects in a master file

- [Instructor] Hi, I'm Bonnie Biafore, in this project tip I'll show you an easy way to tell the projects that tasks belong to in a master file. I'm going to start by opening up a resource pool to create a new master file. In the exercise files folder, it's 04_09_resourcepool. So I'm going to double click that. When I do that, it launches project, and I see the open resource pool dialogue box. The option that I want is the third one. That's the one that opens the resource pool, and all other sharer files into a new master project file. Select that option and click okay. Now initially, you see the resource pool. But the master file is open as well. To see that one I'm going to go to the view tab, then over on the right side of the ribbon, click switch windows and choose the file that's named something like project one, project two. So I select that, and now I can see my master file. One thing to notice, look at the task IDs on the left hand side. When you have a master file with…
