Display two views at the same time

- [Instructor] Depending on what you want to see, you can display one view that takes up the whole project window, or show one view in the primary pane and another view in the Details pane. When you first install Project, the view that you see when you open a project has the timeline at the top and the Gantt Chart beneath it. The timeline is a great way to look at an overview of your project. However, when you're ready to start looking at the details of your tasks, then you want the Details pane. To display that, we're gonna head to the View tab and the Split View section. And you'll see that there's a check box for Timeline and for Details. You can only have either the Timeline or Details, you can't have both. When I click to turn-on the check box for Details, the Timeline disappears. The way these views work is when you select a task in the view in the primary pane, information about that task appears in the view that's in the Details pane.
