- [Instructor] Hi, I'm Bonnie Biafore. I enjoy learning shortcuts to enter data more quickly no matter which program I'm working with. Here are a few data entry shortcuts that can speed up your work in Microsoft Project. So, the first one is for copying data into adjacent rows. If you want to copy values you can select all of the cells that you want to copy. Then, point at the green box at the bottom right corner of the selection. When the cursor changes to a plus sign, you can drag over all of the rows you want to copy into. And when you let go of the mouse button, the values copy down through all those rows. That's great, but sometimes getting the pointer over that green box can be challenging. Especially if you don't have a sure hand. But, there's another way to do it. So, let's go up to the quick access toolbar and click undo. Now, I'm going to drag over the cells that I want to copy and also drag over all of the rows that I want to copy into.
