Create a manually scheduled task

- [Instructor] Creating a manually scheduled task is easy. Set the task mode to manually scheduled, name the task, and fill in the information you have. The task bars change based on which values you enter. We're gonna create a couple of manually scheduled tasks. Before we do that, look down at the status bar in the project window and it says new tasks are manually scheduled. That's what I want for now. So I'm gonna go up into the table and click the first blank task named cell. I'm gonna type the name of the new task which is pack office. And then I'm gonna press tab. Notice the task mode indicator is a push pin with a question mark. The push pin means it's manually scheduled, and the question mark tells you that you haven't added any information. Well let's start with the start date. You know that it has to start on January 9th 2020. I type that value into the start date cell and then I'm gonna press tab.
