Change the settings for columns in a table

- [Narrator] The columns in a table can display their contents in different ways. You can change the heading, wrap the heading text to fit the column width, align the text and a lot more. Let's start by applying the entry table to this view. On the view tab I'm going to click the tables button, then on the menu click entry. The first thing we're going to look at is how you change what you see in the column heading. For example we've got the column Start. That is the project field called Start, but let's say I want to have something else appear in this table heading. I'm going to right click the heading area of that column. On the shortcut menu choose field settings. That opens up the field settings dialog box. We can see the field name is Start, but I have a title box that I can fill in with what I want to see in this table. Let's say I'm going to call it Scheduled Start to differentiate it from other kinds of start dates. The other thing I can do is I can align the title and the data…
