- [Instructor] If you manage a project that uses an international currency you can easily change currency and its formatting in Project. Click the File tab, click Options and then in the Project Options dialog box, click the Display category. In the currency options for this project section choose the currency in the currency box. Project automatically changes the currency symbol in the symbol box. To change the symbol placement, click the placement down arrow and then choose whether you want the symbol before or after the value and with or without a space. In the decimal digits box, choose how many decimal places you want to appear in cost fields. Click OK and the values in Project's built-in and custom cost fields change immediately.
