Beware the Autolink option

- [Bonnie Biafore] Hi, I'm Bonnie Biafore with another Project tip. When you first install Project, the autolink option is turned on, and that means that Project automatically edits task dependencies as you add, remove and rearrange tasks. Sometimes that causes more problems than it solves. So we're going to go to the file tab and choose options. In the Project options dialogue box, you want to head to the schedule category, and scroll down to the scheduling options for this project section. There's a checkbox, autolink inserted or move tasks. You can read its description by pointing at the little information indicator. We'll let's take a look at how this works. We're going to scroll down. And we've got these tasks, pour concrete and cure concrete. I'm going to select one of them, and then in the tasks tab over on the right side, click scroll to task.
