- [Instructor] A lot of times in Project Online, you need to capture custom information about either the project, task, or resource. We're going to go to PWA Settings, and this time, we're going to select Enterprise Custom Fields and Lookups. We want to build a custom field that will capture the project cost type, so we'll setup a lookup first. This is a value list that we can use for capturing custom information, and we can set up that value list by selecting the New Lookup Table, and we'll names our lookup Project Cost Type. Now you're just building the lookup at this point, not the actual field to capture the data. You can select its type, so in our case, we just want to have a text value so we'll leave the default. You can set up the characters in the code mask, so if you wanted them to have a separator if you had multiple levels.
