Understanding compatibility

- [Instructor] As a Project online administrator, we need to understand which clients and which servers go together. I'm going to toggle over to a slide that sort of explains this for us. Here I can see that Project Professional and Project Server 2013 go together. I can also see as Project 2013 and Project 2016 on Premise go together. Project Professional 2016 and that can be used with the cloud version or a project on Premise 2016 server. And Project Professional and Project Professional 2016 click to run that is, goes with a project server 2013. And lastly, a Project Professional click to run and Project Professional 2016 client work with a Project 2019 or a Project Online server. This chart will further help us understand which clients go with which servers or tenants. So when we're connecting Microsoft Project to our Project Online tenant, we need to make sure that we have the correct version for that particular instance.
