Understanding the RBS
- [Instructor] In Project Online, you may need to enhance your security functionality, meaning you may work for a company where you have multiple divisions and you want to be able to lock people out of the projects or the resource that are associated with that particular division. A field that does that for us is this RBS. We're going to build this out for a group of people that have four divisions in their organization. So we'll select the RBS Lookup. We added in a second character set because we want to create more than one indenture level. And we'll put in our U.S. Then we'll have North, South, East, and West. And we'll indent them under the U.S. section. Now, if you happen to be a global organization, you might want to add in perhaps an additional European type structure as well. Ours is just going to be U.S. for now. Now, this will make it so that the end user will have no access to the additional projects that are not in their particular division. So we'll press Save.
