Saving a template

- [Instructor] As you build reports in Power BI, sometimes you want to share the file or even start from a template. This way you make sure that you don't overwrite a predefined report. To do that, we'll go to the File menu and select Save As. We'll change our file format to the PBIT format, meaning template versus our standard PBIX. We'll type in the file name. In this case we'll just make it simple and type in template and press save. We'll put in a description for this particular template so others may know what it's for, so we'll say this is an assignment work template. And we'll press okay. Now we've created the template, but now we want to open it so I'll close the Power BI desktop client. Here I now go back to my files where I've saved my template file.
