How Power BI licensing works
- [Instructor] Are you having a problem deciding which Power BI license do I choose? To use Power BI effectively, we will review its options and features to understand how each license could satisfy our organization's needs. In the Power BI Free license, we can build reports connecting to data services. We can publish to the web or export our data to Excel or CSV or PowerPoint. In the Power BI Pro license, we get those functionalities along with email subscriptions, peer-to-peer sharing, apps and workspaces and, of course, that means collaboration. And we can use that with the Power BI service to publish our reports up into the cloud. In the Power BI Premium license, we get those features plus we also get dedicated capabilities for larger data sets, storage and more capacity.
