- It's fairly common that when a team is forming the product vision is a little foggy and undefined. It's also possible that the team members are unsure of the technical approach to take with the product. Let's look at each of these possibilities and how you can tackle them. First, let's talk about ensuring the team has a solid product vision to start with. Usually there's an approval process to get the project or work stream started. That usually contains a rough outline of the product or enhancement the team will create. Since it's usually a rough vision for the product you can help our product owner take this to the next deeper level. I like to use Roman Pichler's product vision board. Using this template you can work with the PO to refine the product vision. With this information the team will know the reason for the work and the expected outcomes.
