- When the project has defined the high-level requirements and prioritized these, it will plan to deliver everything. But we know that in real life, things don't always work out like that. In any project, particularly those being produced in a traditional environment, the business expects everything to be delivered with no compromise on requirements. What this usually means, is that projects are delivered late or over budget. But, if you're in an agile environment, the emphasis is on delivering on time and on budget. So, the compromise is in which of the requirements will be delivered. So what can we reasonably expect a project using MoSCoW prioritization to deliver? We can reasonably expect to deliver the must-haves and should-haves. This is the absolute minimum. This gives a quality product with business value. Now, if the project were to only deliver the must-have requirements, the solution may well be viable, but it's unlikely to achieve the full expected business value. However…
