- In Scrum, we like to have our team members cross-train in different skills needed on the team. We do this so the team doesn't face any bottlenecks getting work all the way to done in a sprint. As you know, it often takes quite a bit of effort to get everyone to agree to broaden their skills. But now that you've gotten the team members and the managers on board, there's one more hurdle to overcome. That's the negotiation with the product owner. The PO has responsibility and accountability for the delivery of the product. Usually, that also comes with a tight timeline and restricted budget.
