- As organizations consider making the switch to Scrum, some leaders become concerned that they may lose their ability to track the progress of the work. As a Scrum Master, you'll help the product owner and team make progress visible. Usually, the Scrum Master is the one responsible for ensuring progress is tracked and visible to everyone. The team members, however, are responsible for helping by keeping their individual progress updated on their tasks. Scrum doesn't report status in the same way that traditional project management suggested. Primarily, Scrum expects teams to show stakeholders working software in the Sprint Review. In this way, stakeholders can see the product as it's being built. To external stakeholders, the Sprint Review is a great way for them to see how the team is progressing.
