So, I'm going to share some strategies that can help you attract the talent you really need. Let's start by using a total cost approach to think about the investment you're making in the folks you hire. There are five main drivers of cost when it comes to supply chain talent. There's urgency. The more you need an employee, the more you'll end up spending to recruit them. There's the labor market. In order to get people on your team, you need to offer competitive compensation and benefits. There's geography. If the people you need don't live where you need them, then you'll have to pay for travel or relocation. Fourth is competency.
