- "Progress is impossible without change, "and those who can't change their minds "can't change anything." That's my favorite quote from George Bernard Shaw. Supply chain processes and technologies are in a constant state of change. If we want to drive real progress, then supply chain professionals need to understand how these changes affect people. In this video we'll look at a model that you can use to clarify the difference between a change in your supply chain and the transitions that people need to make because of that change. The model was created by Dr. William Bridges. You can read more about it in his book, Managing Transitions. To start with, you need to think about any change that you're going to make from the perspective of someone who will be affected by it. Each person's world works in a certain way today.
