- Have you ever tried to hug a bear? I mean, seriously, have you? Well, I have, and trust me, it's not easy. Hold up, before you start thinking I'm crazy, I hugged the bear at an animal sanctuary under the watchful eyes of an expert handler. But what does this have to do with integration management? In one word, everything. Just like hugging a bear isn't easy, neither is wrapping your head around integration management. It's massive in size and requires integrated skills to properly manage. As you study integration management, here are some of the major concepts you need to take into consideration. Creating a project management charter, or plan. Aligning deliverable due dates. Organizing and managing project knowledge. Managing changes on the project. Monitoring the project's progress. Completing project deliverables. Closing out the project or phase.
