- [Instructor] By the end of every project, you turn something over to the project customer that helps achieve the project goal and objectives. In project management circles the tangible results from a project are called deliverables. In our example, one deliverable is the office space ready for occupancy. Other high-level deliverables include an operational network, internet service, phone system, and business software. A spreadsheet is handy for listing project deliverables. We've provided one in the exercise files that includes the high-level deliverables for the example project. You also need a way to tell that what you get is what you want. That way there won't be any squabbles later on over whether a deliverable is successful. Success criteria may be simple and straightforward. For example, with the office space one success criterion is receiving a certificate of occupancy from the county government.
