Direct and Manage Project Work

- Plans are great, but they're not worth much if you don't put them into action. Direct and manage the project work is all about getting work done. So, throw your backpack on and grab your roadmap. We're climbing down the mountain. In this process, you'll follow your map, AKA the project management plan, and work with your team to complete project deliverables. As work progresses, you'll encounter issues and change requests. These need to be appropriately documented so they can be tracked and managed. All changes need to go through the integrated change control process. Approved ones should be executed after they've been incorporated into the revised project management plan. Also, raw observations and measurements, known as work performance data, are identified as activities are being carried out to complete project work.
