- So you've defined your benefits management strategy and have a clear approach on how to manage the benefits for the project. However, you can't assume that the approach is bulletproof. Sometimes a process fails or due to a failure to check on procedures, people start finding ways around procedures or worse still, not following them at all. The result is you'll be unlikely to achieve the full value you expect from your projects. To ensure that we deliver benefits consistently from project to project, it'll be essential to review the benefits management strategy on a regular basis and if necessary, make amendments. Benefit reviews are the perfect time to carry out an assessment of your strategy. These are typically carried out at the end of each delivery stage and after the project has ended.
