- Breaking down features in agile is important to the team being able to work quickly. It's about keeping the flow of work moving and the dialog focused. High-level software engineers and architects love features, and the sky is the limit. A product roadmap of features is important so the architecture can be planned in the short and long term. As great as defining features can be, they're typically not something a team can develop in a sprint. Features are not focused on the value until further elaborated on from a user perspective. Let's take a look at notifications as a feature for our GoHealth app. The vision of our product includes members receiving notifications on their phones from the club, and the goal is to please the user with the app's functions.
