Bitmaps store for every pixel in an image. Images can have multiple sizes, and various number of colors that are all stored as binary data in a bitmap file. There are multiple ways to represent color using the red, green and blue values of light for each pixel. Often, these values are represented as hexadecimal numbers using different amounts of bits per pixel.
