If you're a premium member of lynda.com Online Training Library, or if you're watching this tutorial on a DVD-ROM, you have access to the exercise files used throughout this title. So, the exercise files are laid out in the master Exercise File folder and inside you're going to find the main exercise Pro Tools session for this course. Now, if I go to Take Me Down and I double-click on the Take Me down - Final.ptf file, that's going to open up in Pro Tools. So, the exercise file that we're going to be working with is the song called 'Take Me Down' By Joshua Armstrong. It's a pop rock tune with real drums, crunchy guitars and a great hook. The way the exercises are laid out are located in Memory Locations, Window > Memory Locations, and at the beginning of each video I will call out a specific memory location that I'm starting with. Since, we're going to be working with this mix for most of our examples, we're just going to work from the memory locations within this single session file.…
