Recording multiple takes
- [Instructor] Once you've set up a session to re-record a selection using pre and post roll, you're ready to begin recording new takes. It may require multiple takes to get the desired results, so you can either record each take separately, or record multiple takes at once using loop recording. Let's take a look at both options. Here, I'm getting ready to re-record a portion of the guitar one track in the Crash Down session. I've configured one bar of pre and post roll to help the guitarist come in on time and I've previously recorded the first take. Let's give it a listen here, ♪ Crash down when it all comes 'round again ♪ ♪ Crash down when it all comes 'round. ♪ All right, so I don't think that's what I had in mind. I'd rather have the guitarist try something a little bit more staccato.
