Printing and exporting a score

In addition to editing MIDI notes in Pro Tools, the Score Editor enables you to export the score to Sibelius, an advanced notation software program, for further tweaking. You can also print out the score directly from Pro Tools. Before printing or exporting, you might want to rename the tracks, and to do that it's very simple. You can just go up to the name of the track and double-click. You also may want to alter the tracks that are shown on the score. Right now, we've got all of the tracks shown, but maybe we just want to print out the piano part.

So all we need to do is click these circles to either include or not include them in the score. If you'd like to do some fine-tuning or tweaking to the score, or individual parts, you may want to use Sibelius notation program to do this. You can export this file directly to Sibelius to utilize the more advanced notation function in the program, if you go to File > Export > Sibelius. And here you can save it as something and t...
