This video highlights the phase shift, flange, and chorus modulation effects available in the AudioSuite menu, and explains the difference between them.
- [Instructor] In this chapter,…we're going to look at some of the plugins you'll find…under the modulation and harmonic categories…of the AudioSuite menu.…And I'd like to start here by looking…at some of the modulation effects.…Modulation is essentially the varying of delay time…and it's what gives us the ability…to apply effects like phase, flange, and chorus.…Now before I go any before,…I need to mention that you might not be seeing…all the same plugins in your modulation menu…as you see here in mine.…If you have just the base Pro Tools installation,…you'll only see the sci-fi plugin,…but if you have an Avid subscription or annual plan,…you have access to the bonus plugins…which are what all these other plugins…in the modulation menu are.…
There are also bonus plugins available…in some of the other menus including the harmonic menu…but we'll be getting to those a little bit later.…But if you have a subscription or annual plan,…you should see the plugins here,…or if you don't, you'll need to go to the Avid website…
