Navigating the Jupiter 8 interface

- [Instructor] The Jupiter-8V is a really great recreation of Roland's classic Jupiter-8 synthesizer, and there are a number of new features that are added. Aside from recreating the original in every aspect, the Jupiter-8V offers things like a galaxy module, which can create very complex modulations with interactions of three LFOs. The first two LFOs can each modulate a different parameter on an X-Y axis. The third LFO can be set to rotate the X-Y axis at a certain speed. This is really nicely visualized in the interface under the hood, and I'll show you that in the next video. Furthermore, the sequencer has been expanded to 32 steps, which is very different than the original and you can really create some nice, complex, evolving melodies. Okay, let's dive in. So we have our arpeggio section, or arpeggiator section, on the left. We have our low frequency oscillator next to that, with a voltage control modulator to the right.
