…Our track is sounding pretty good.…And it's time to put it in a frame and get it out the door.…That would be mastering.…But there's a couple of places where we can master elements.…Well, obviously on our master output fader.…But, don't forget we have our track and vocal faders separately.…Which can really be helpful if certain elements have issues…of problems you want to deal with, without affecting everybody else.…For example, it's not the case in this mix.…But maybe your vocalist is a little shrill at times.…And you don't want to darken her up with EQ or anything.…
We can use a multi-band compressor like the C4.…There's a number of them.…But this is a particularly great sounding one.…And, I'm just using an example of the harshness in the vocal at this time.…So, I would bypass the areas that aren't harsh…and I would focus on areas that are harsh.…And I would basically master the vocal…group by putting this compressor across the vocals.…So let's see if I can make it react and just to show you what I'm talking about…
