- [Instructor] Let's look at a few of the most popular analog summing units. Paul Wolff is a pro audio designer that has brought several summing solutions to the market. The API 8200, Tonelux modular V-Series, Tonelux OTB 16, and most recently the A-Designs Mix Factory that was designed to Tony Shepherd's specifications. The 8200 were great units that aimed to offer similar quality to that of a larger API consol. Paul Wolff created Tonelux after he sold API and he came out with this innovative V-Series that was a very complex modular system that had different modules allowing you to build a consol ala carte. He also offered a rack mountable summing unit called the OTB 16. His most recent design was for his friend Tony Shepherd who provided the specs to build a new summing unit which is available through A-Designs. Dangerous Music has become a popular brand that offers summing units that are designed to be transparent. They originally offered two units, the 2-BUS and the 2-BUS LT which…
