So, after using the Region Conform operation, I've tightened up the feel of its performance.…But as a result, it has left big gaps in the audio, and those gaps can kind of…sound nasty when we play this back.…(Drums playing.)…You can definitely hear it here over these larger gaps.…Now sometimes you can get away with this, in the mix, you don't really hear them.…Most times, what I am going to want to want to do is use the Edit Smoothing…operation of Beat Detective to fill in those gaps and add Fades.…
so it sounds just as smooth as it did before we conformed it.…So, selecting these here, and choosing Edit Smoothing.…I just want to make sure I actually select over the gaps.…This can be used outside of the selection.…the selection, at this point, doesn't really matter so much.…I just want to make sure that I'm selecting over the gaps that I want to fill in.…Now I have two options, pretty easy.…I can Fill the Gaps, which essentially trims back material, or Fill And…Crossfade, which trims back material, and adds a Crossfade.…
