I have this wonderful tube tape echo by Fulltone which is basically a recreation of the old Echoplex tape delay from the 1960s. I love using it for echo sims and on vocals, even straight into guitar amps when playing guitar. But in this case, I'll show you how I've used it to process instruments to get new sounds. I'll plug the unit into my EXTC which allows me a path into the lower voltage, higher impedance electronics of the delay unit and back into my computer interface. I'll set the knobs so it's 100% echo, no original signal, and also no feedback or regeneration happening on the echo repeats. The erase and record heads here will wipe the tape as it circles around and track new signal to it.
