In this video, I'm going to show you a…quick way to create a Drum Loop using Midi.…We'll start with a Stereo Instrument Track, with Expand 2 on it.…You can see that I've loaded up the Session Drums preset.…Next I want to enable Loop Playback, not Loop Record.…I want to make sure that Wait for note,…Midi Merge and the Conductor are all active.…And actually I want to make sure my Metronome is on as well.…So if they're blue I know that they are all active.…Next I'm going to enable Input Quantize. I am…going to set my Quantize Grid to 8th note.…
And we can leave the other settings as they are.…Just make sure to enable Input Quantize.…Now I'm going to highlight a 2 Bar section,…which will be the loop that I'm going to record.…And again you can click and hold the Shift…Key and click again to make the same selection.…I'm going to record enable the Drum Track and I'm…just going to make sure I can hear my instruments.…Cool.…Now let's make sure that the Tempo and Meter are set before we start recording.…We might slow this down a little bit from 120.…
