Basic folds
- [Voiceover] The basic folding family consists of some of the easiest and most common folding styles. The main characteristics of a basic fold is actually its lack of character, which is kind of funny. Here are some of the most popular folds in the basic family. A 4-Page Standard, an 8-Page Standard, also called and 8-Page Broadside, a Tri-Fold, and a Tent Fold. I like to call these the workhorse styles, or the bread-and-butter folds. They're always going to be the quickest to set up on the folding machine and the most economical to run. Great for low budget or simple projects, these styles are perfect for invitations, newsletters, and brochures and virtually guarantee stress-free production at almost any printer or binary.
