- [Instructor] A common design pattern is an image carousel, … and they're everywhere from websites to mobile screens. … And this is where a series of images are brought … into focus by either swiping, clicking … or dragging the images on the screen. … In principle, what you need to do is actually add paging … to the carousel. … And that's what we're going to look at in this exercise. … To get yourself started, open the paging file found … in your chapter download. … The first step to creating a carousel is … to select the three images … that we're going to be working with here, … streets, markets, and history, … and you group them. … Paging only works with a group, … and we'll name this cards. … So now we can select the cards, … and we come over here to the horizontal properties, … and we'll set it to page. … If we show the preview, you can see that we've got it, … but again, it springs back, … and we know the cause of that. … This group is wider than the viewport, … so let's pull this in. …
