Card animation - Principle Tutorial
From the course: Principle for UX Design (2019)
Card animation
- [Instructor] One of the great advantages to working with prototyping software, such as Principle. Is you get to play what I call what if games. For example, what if I touch this image right here, and as I keep my finger over the image, it pops out of the stack and moves in front of the other images. Then when I lift my finger the image goes back into position. This is exactly what we're going to do in this exercise. We're going to use touch events to create a rather interesting touch effect. Though we're going to work with a series of images this technique works with cards or any other objects you may want to bring to the attention of the user. This technique requires three artboards but you need to keep in mind the key here, is not the artboards themselves. But the transition between them. So let's get started and to get yourself started open the TouchCards file in your chapter download. So when it opens the first thing I want you to do is to select this artboard and duplicate it…
