- [Narrator] It is apparent that when you have a negative float, you must address this immediately. To do so, you'll want to take note of how late the project is, by looking at the total float. This will help to indicate how many days you need to save in order to get back on schedule. You can see here that we're late by negative three days. To save this, we're going to go to our group and sort, and I'm going to actually group this by the total float. You will see that all of our activities are actually late by three days. So, you'll want to figure out what activity to shorten the days by in order to get back on schedule. You can pick one or multiple activities to shorten a few durations in between. Now, I'm going to shorten the writing training script by two days. So I'm going to select the remaining duration and make that three instead.
