Join Ben Sullins for an in-depth discussion in this video Exercise files, part of Presto Essentials: Data Science.
- [Instructor] If you have access to the exercise files for this course, you can download them to your desktop as I've done here. Inside of the folder they're layed out with the video, the chapter, name to begin with and so the 2.3 section in that chapter would refer to this file and if I take a look at that file what I've done is provided essentially a reference guide for you where I have all the commands that we type on the course as well as what the results typically look like. You can use this to copy and paste into your own environment or you can just use this as a reference to understand what we did during that section.
If you're viewing this course on a mobile device, set top device, or your membership doesn't provide access to these files, that's okay. I encourage you to still follow along as we go through the course. Now let's get started.
Data science expert Ben Sullins helps you get up to speed with Presto, and leverage it to accomplish a wide-range of data science and analytics tasks. He uses different interfaces with Presto—such as R and Tableau—and digs into the expressive SQL language that Presto offers for your analysis. At the end of this course, you'll know the key concepts of Presto and how to use them to take full advantage of your modern big data system.
