- [Instructor] For many of you,…you'll be using Presto and connecting to it…from a platform like Tableau or R,…or some other tool that you use to do your work.…And so I wanted to go through now…and show you a couple of these examples.…I'm going to start with Tableau.…And if you don't have it yet,…you can get a free trial from tableau.com.…Click on Try Now,…enter your e-mail,…and download the free trial.…It works on Windows and Mac.…And then once you get the download,…just double-click the installer, click Next.…
You'll have to enter some info to activate your trial,…and then you can fire it up and follow along.…Once you've done that,…you can see the Connect to Data window,…as I have here, up in Tableau.…And I'm running this on a Mac,…but it'll work almost identical to Windows.…So once you have Tableau opened…and you're looking to connect,…in order to connect to Presto,…I need to look for my servers under More here,…and find the Presto option.…Tableau works with many, many data sources.…And Presto is now natively supported as of Version 10.1.…
