Working with shared storage

- You can work with productions in any place that you are already using with a single project file. However, if you are going to be working with other editors in collaboration, then you'll need some kind of shared storage system. So just to reiterate, a networked shared storage solution, it's only required for collaborating with other editors in the same production. Now, because productions can work with many systems, it is not possible for Adobe to validate compatibility for a specific system. So here are some recommendations; before buying any kind of shared storage solution ask if it has been tested with productions in Premier Pro, a NAS or Network Attached Storage System, which offers multiple ways to connect. You will see that depending on the system, it can connect through SMB, AFP or NSF . Of these always prefer connecting via SMB.
