- Before using the class it would be a good idea if you have a basic familiarity with tools like Adobe Premier Pro, Adobe After Effects, and Photoshop, but even if you haven't mastered these tools, there's still a lot you can get out of this course. Make sure, though, that you have the basics down for things like opening up files and saving documents. I'll be sure to walk you through how to use each tool, and I will make sure that you are able to get results even if you've never used the app before, but you might have to rewatch a movie or try it a few times if you're completely new to an application. But that's okay. You can always pause the video or go back and rewatch it a second time. Make sure that you update your software to the latest version that you have available. I'll be using the 2018 version of Adobe Creative Cloud in this course, and it should work with subsequent versions of the software that comes after that. If you're using an earlier version of the software most of the techniques I show will also be available there as well, but you might notice slight differences in the user interface. Make sure that your software is up to date. I'll share one more thing with you, which is how to download the exercise files.
