Using any color to create a composite with Color Key

- Let's go ahead and open sequence 4.1. In here, you're gonna see a clip in which the young man is standing in front of a blue screen. So, we are going to key out blue instead of the green that we had done before. For that, we're going to use the color key effect. So, I'm go into the Effects panel. Type in the word color in the search field and now I will be able to easily find the Color Key effect and here it is. I will add it to the top clip. This works fairly similar to what we saw in the Ultra Keyer before. I'm going to choose the eye dropper and then choose a color blue to key out. I'm now going to play around with some of the other values. Tolerance refers to the range of transparent colors. In other words, the range of shades of blue that we're going to make transparent. I'm gonna change this to a much higher number, and I believe around 64 is gonna work fine. Thin refers to where the edges are going to be. I'm going to push the edges in a little bit but taking care not to do…
