Using Lumetri effect presets
A few years ago, Adobe made one of the best business decisions that I think they've made in a long time. And that's buying a company called Iridas. Iridas was the manufacturer of a high end color correction tool called Speed Grade. Now, since Adobe's purchase of Speed Grade, they've made it, of course, a stand alone application for dedicated color correction. But they've also integrated a lot of, sort of the core functionality and core technology of Speed Grade into other applications including Premier Pro. And one way that we see that manifest in Premier Pro is through the use of Lumetri look presets. Now, what do I mean by Lumetri look presets? Well, Lumetri, the Lumetri engine, is sort of the underlying processing engine of Speed Grade. And the presets are, of course, look presets that we can use in Speed Grade, but now we can also use them inside of Premier Pro.
