Use Audition to clean up your audio
- Premiere has powerful audio tools that can mix, adjust, and even clean up your audio. But it can't replace a professional audio post-production program like Audition. Let's see Audition in action. Let's go ahead and open Sequence 3.7. And let's maximize this so we can see the three clips. They're audio clip only, so we won't need to see the video attached to them because there is non. Let's start with the first clip. If we play it, you will notice that there is background audio here. And then of course, the voice starts speaking right around here. - Seward if a beautiful Alaska... - If we want to clean up this background audio, the best way to do it is by sending this clip to Audition. So let's go ahead and right-click the clip and choose Edit Clip in Adobe Audition. Premiere is going to create a copy of this clip. And it creates a copy of the clip because Audition is a destructive method of fixing the audio. So if it didn't make a copy we will be destroying or altering for good…
